Steve Ferreira – Founder/Owner/Head Trainer

My name is Steve and I’m the Founder/Owner/Head Trainer here at SNF Fitness. Exercise and sports have surrounded my life as far back as I can remember. I’ve played organized Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer since the age of 7, became very active with weightlifting starting at 15, and continued playing Football through College until I was 22. After earning my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with Concentrations in Management & Finance from Merrimack College in 2004, I spent approximately 4 years moving around “Corporate America.” Though I enjoyed it at times, I was always working for someone else, and spending 8-10 hours per day sitting in a shirt and tie staring at a computer screen while “pounding the phones.” This was NOT for me. I got the urge to start my own business, and decided to select something I actually enjoyed. I’ve been the “go-to knowledge base” for friends, family, and co-workers for basically the last 9 years and decided it was something I could and should start doing professionally. I put forth 100% effort into each and every Client, each and every Program I write, and each and every aspect of my business. I hope the effort is visible during our first Consultation and that you select me as your Personal Trainer.

- Hold a current USA Amateur Boxing Passbook
- Have both formally and informally trained Clients for the past 10 years
- Have written, and been part of numerous Collegiate level Strength Programs
- Current ‘student’ of both Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts
Jose Santos – Personal Trainer
Jose graduated with a degree in Exercise Health Science from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. He is also pursuing certifications through NSCA and ACSM to compliment his extensive experience training with people of all fitness levels; having worked with collegiate athletes at Northeastern University’s Strength and Conditioning Center, weekend warriors at the Wang YMCA in Boston, as well as with people with disabilities at the South Shore YMCA in Quincy, MA.
Jose believes in a balanced lifestyle of being able to enjoy the things you do while making sure you still get your regular physical activity and a nutritious diet to back it up. Moderation is the key.
When he’s not working out, Jose enjoys training in various martial arts, BMX and mountain bike riding, snowboarding, as well as playing guitar and piano. He loves working with people and helping them better their lives in and outside of the gym and looks forward to meeting with you.
