Interested in working with a Personal Trainer and getting ALL that comes with it, for approximately 42% OFF our standard 1 on 1 Training rates? This option is our now formalized ‘Semi-Private’ Personal Training hours. ‘Semi-Private’ Personal Training gets you ALL that comes with a standard Personal Training package through SNF Fitness: a set number of IN Studio Training hours, guided OUT of Studio work for you to do on your own time, our 3-phase Nutritional guidance, as well as unlimited phone/email/text support throughout the week. The change is that multiple Clients are now sharing the time and knowledge of 1 Personal Trainer. This is NOT a Group based ‘class’ where everyone is doing the same work. It’s just as written, 1 Trainer is now covering multiple Clients at the same time, running their individual Program. It’s a win-win as SNF is now able to accommodate more Clients within one given hour, and each Client saves a substantial amount of money by utilizing shared time.

 

Who this is for: In brief, this is for Clients that have now established enough of a baseline that they are at the stage where they may only need to be monitored/corrected on 30% of their given reps in a set, while comfortably doing 70% on their own correctly. At the beginning, most are the complete opposite at 80/20, 90/10, or worse. This is also for those that have no ‘severe’ injuries that require 100% attention throughout an exercise hour.

 

Who this is not for: Essentially the exact opposite of above. For those with serious injury concerns, balance issues, and gross imbalances that need direct attention. Also, for the majority of new Clients coming in, proper baseline work needs to be done within a handful of individual 1 on 1 Sessions to be able to properly design a Program (I can explain this further in detail).

We have open slots for next month’s public ‘Group Rip’ run by NEW Lead Trainer/Competition Prep Consultant & Coach Mike. See an updated bio on Mike HERE. The cost is $90/mo for UP TO 16 hours of Personal Trainer led Workouts. This is the best option within my facility, that is suitable for all beginners and intermediates, who are not ready for 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 Personal Training. This continues to be the most affordable way to Train at SNF Fitness, with accountability, direction, and education as a monthly focus.

 

Description: ‘Group Rip’ workouts will continue to be FULL BODY focused Training each and every time in, just utilizing some different methods, tempos, and rest intervals than we have done in the past. We guinea-pigged some new styles of Training with Mike over the last 2 weeks, with great success and feedback. We utilize Bodyweight Training methods, Kettlebells, Dumbbells, various Bands, and a variety of Suspension based apparatus (TRX, Blast Straps, Jungle Gym XTs). We’ll also flip in Battling Ropes, Tires, Sleds, Sledgehammers & more when class size allows. Plan for a combination of proper load bearing exercises (consider our 3 & 5 lb. Dumbbells primarily as decorations), and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style work. Each and every workout will be different, as we do NOT use preset cookie cutter workouts each and every week. We design the Sessions around total participants to fully maximize the space and the time.

 

Cost & Times: $90/mo membership due on the 2nd of every month. Sessions run every Tuesday/Thursday at 7pm, and Saturday at 9am & 10am. Do the math….if you make 3 solid workouts per week, you’re at less than $8/visit!

As of NOW, we are guinea pigging this offering at the 4pm slot on Monday/Wednesday/Friday ONLY right now. This slot currently belongs to my longest standing Client, who will be transferring into this Program. As of today, 2/12/13, I have 3 more available slots for this Program. It will be first come first serve, providing you meet the criteria, and of course can commit to those given times.

 Jay Thebado – Personal Trainer

Jay has been training full-time since April 2012. He is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and also received a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from UMASS-Lowell. He plans to become a Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM in early 2013. He has an eclectic mix of clients ranging from ages 20 to 73.

Jay’s main goal is to improve quality of life, both physically and mentally. He is very passionate about his Clients’ progress, and continues to educate himself every day to reach his full potential as a Personal Trainer. In his short time Training professionally, he has seen amazing transformations in his Clients. He wants to reach out to as many people as he can to let them know change is possible.

Chris Christodoulou – Personal Trainer

Chris is the newest trainer to join the SNF team. Chris has played Soccer through his youth, Basketball through high school, and participated in everything from Ultimate Frisbee, Flag Football, intramural Basketball, Boxing and a little bit of Brazilian Jiu Jjitsu through his College years. He has attended URI and Bridgewater State University, having earned his Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Exercise Science, Health Fitness and Physical Education. He is currently preparing to take the NSCAs CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) exam, and is looking to partake in a variety of other certification courses to expand his knowledge base.

What is Personal Training at SNF Fitness?

Below is a 15 minute video entitled ‘What is Personal Training at SNF Fitness?’ I put this together to hopefully explain what you SHOULD be getting from any Personal Trainer, and what you’ll especially get from us. This is a topic that probably needs a good 30 minutes to explain thoroughly, but I did my best to cut that in half. There’s a few things I would have preferred to change, and change the order of 2 things, but all in all I believe this gets my message across. Still QUITE A BIT longer than most my Vid’s, but I hope you can find the time to watch this all the way through. BOOM…SNF Fitness – Personal Training & Strength Studio – Open For Business Exactly 1 YEAR TODAY!! – 8/22/12

BOOM….SNF Fitness – Personal Training & Strength Studio has now been open for business for exactly 1 YEAR TODAY! It’s literally been a crazy, but extremely successful first year in business at our first physical location here in Quincy. It’s been quite the learning experience, and I’m actually fairly happy that I’ve made as many mistakes (and learned appropriately from them), as I’ve had successes. The next year is only going to become bigger and better and as a result, and we will be able to provide our Clients with an even better all-around experience than they’ve already had. Below is a list of THANK YOU’S that I’d like to quickly extend (in MY light-hearted way of course)….

 

First off I’d like to thank my Business Partner in all this. I started working with him in an In-Home Training capacity when I had only been doing this professionally for about 6 months a few years back. Our Training eventually lasted over 1.25 years, we parted ways for a few months, and then before I knew it he ‘quickly’ became my Partner in my latest idea for a brick and mortar business. Without his initial investment, and his continued work ‘behind the scenes’ on all things that are stressful/annoying enough that I’d probably put my head through the drywall, the ‘front end’ aspect of the Studio that all our Clients see would NOT be possible, trust me. I also appreciate the fact that we can talk serious business/dollars & cents throughout the day, and then communicate as 2 ‘Bros having beers staring at girls at Bar to end the day. I’m VERY appreciative for all that he does….BOOM

 

Second, I’d like to thank my Lead Trainer/Nutrition Tracking Manager and Professional Ninja Jose. The ONLY way to work with AS MANY Clients as we do, is to have fully trustworthy and ROCKSTAR Trainers on my staff. I have that with Jose. I personally can only lead so many Sessions each week, and handle the business end crap in all this at the same time. Thus, I need to have our new paying customers work with someone that represents my brand the way I want it, day in and day out. Once again, Jose does just that. I’ve received COUNTLESS pieces of positive feedback since he’s started, and his good work is what has allowed us to get to that next threshold of total volume of Clients we can handle on a day to day basis. He’s an excellent Trainer, and knows how to use my facility the way it was meant to be used. I’m VERY appreciative for all that he does….BOOM

 

Finally, I’d like to thank the most important people in all this, OUR CLIENTS! Without paying customers, ummm, a business would like, ya know, not work and stuff. I’m VERY appreciative for all of our Clients that help us keep the lights on. I’d like to first thank my original Clients, who gave up the convenience of In-Home Training, to come see me at the ‘Little House of Torture’. It didn’t take long for them to realize how much more I could do for them now, in a custom built controlled environment, so a short drive wasn’t a big deal anymore. THANK YOU. Next, I’d like to thank all of our NEW customers that have come to us since we’ve opened doors. I fully understand the nervousness/uncertainty with utilizing a brand new, privately owned business for a service like this, and I’m thankful for all those that ‘took a shot’ with us, and have stayed with us as long as they have. With that, I’m thankful for ALL the COUNTLESS referrals we’ve received from our Clients, both old and new, that have come to our door. Just as a Realtor would say, that’s “the best compliment we can receive….”, and we are very thankful for that as well. I’m VERY appreciative for all that you ALL do….BOOM

Description: Our new Group Rip offering will be an excellent combination of TRX/Suspension style Training, Plyometric work, Kettlebell work, and Core-specific Training in each and every Rip. The TRX/Suspension work will strengthen and challenge the upper half of your body, our Plyometric drills will shred and fatigue the lower half of your body, and our Core-specific exercises (with equipment and gear that can ONLY be found in our facility), will make it difficult to laugh the next day. In brief, you’ll be getting a very thorough FULL body workout, SNF style.

 

Pricing: $80/month for UNLIMITED Rips. If you’re a trooper and make all 12+ offered each month, you’re looking at LESS than $7/Rip! (compare that to Crossfit 3x per week group offerings that are at least $15/class). Dues are billed on the 15th of every month (Cash/Check/CC accepted). Space is limited b/c of our size, so when we get a good buy-in of committed regulars, we absolutely WILL be capping memberships.
